Moni Wespi (CH) Premiere
"Slow landscapes"
Can a stone breathe? Can a person simply be there like a stone? In the fascinating performance "Slow Landscapes", human bodies merge with their surroundings and with other forms of existence. The performers wear costumes made of specially manufactured textiles that actually look like stone thanks to their colours and patterns. In this way, the bodies camouflage themselves and become part of the landscape, with their movements also adapting. While we constantly have to move quickly in our everyday lives, the power of deceleration takes centre stage here. You can accept this invitation to slow down and observe yourself as a body in a specific environment. In this way, you too can slowly arrive in your own landscape.
