YOUNG DANCE and YOUNG OPERA Festival are curated festivals. We do not have an official application process; shows are selected and invited after being screened by the artistic director of the festival or a selected YOUNG jury.
We curate Swiss and international programs for young audiences. We are constantly on the lookout for new, fresh performances aimed at young audiences. We are interested in theatre, outdoor, virtual and site-specific performances. We have an extensive program for schools, so we are extremely interested in school performances and outreach formats. We prefer to see work live when possible.

- The programme is currently curated approximately 6 - 12 months in advance.
- We are a festival for children and young people and focus on programming works for 0-17 years.
